On February 19, 2020 I was reading my Bible and meditating on the words I had just read, when out of nowhere these thoughts came to me. They are by no means original thoughts, and we have all definitely seen them in different contexts throughout our lives. The part that made me smile though, is that they all came to me at once, and I just quickly wrote them down. When I went back and read what I wrote, I realized these are all things I have struggled with. I have always wanted to be a person that adhered to all of these mottos, but I have never been successful at doing all of them at the same time. There has always been a huge barricade between me and these expressions at one point or another in my life.
In 2021, I’m taking my big, size 10 foot, and kicking that barrier down!!! When I start to second guess myself, I will go back to this list and remind myself that I’m a kickass woman that has been put on this earth for a reason and to serve a purpose! No more walls! No more second guessing myself! No more fear! I will take all of these phrases and implant them into my soul!
•Trust the process
•Trust the journey
•Stop making up stories in your head
•Live in the moment
•Enjoy each stage of life
•Just do it
•Do not overthink it
•Don’t get caught up in the details of how you will get there
•Just start
•Be still and listen
•Shine brightly
•Continue to listen to your soul
•Know you are loved and adored for exactly who you are
2021 is just the start! Sit still with your thoughts and see what phrases come to you. They may be the same as mine or completely different! I would love to see what starts to stir in your soul and in your spirit. I am excited to see how things start to change for us! Please share your journey with me! Virago 24/7!
